The Secret Garden Cotopaxi

All other reservations must be made and prepaid either:

1. At The Secret Garden Quito (www.secretgardenquito.com). The guys on the terrace can handle all aspects of your reservation, payment, transport info etc etc. You can send an email to hola@secretgardenquito.com (include Secret Garden Cotopaxi in the subject line.) but only to request information - your reservation will not be confirmed until you have paid.

   OR....

2. From outside of Quito, you can still make reservations via www.hostelworld.com  - Ecuador - Cotopaxi National Park.

This Hostelworld link gives you instant on-line confirmation of your reservation.

There is no minimum stay, however most guests say that 2 nights is only enough to give you a taste of the mountains, you really need 3 or 4 nights if you want to get into some adventure, 5 or 6 nights gives you time for both adventure and relaxation.

HOW TO GET THERE

SPECIAL - we are currently offering cheap, subsidised transport - only $5 per person - one-way from Secret Garden Quito to Secret Garden Cotopaxi - every monday, wednesday, friday at 10.30am - phone them anytime on (02) 2956 704 for full details.

Alternatively you can make your own way to Machachi (1 hour south of Quito) and wait next to the statue of the horse rider next to the traffic lights on the Panamericana highway at the main entrance into Machachi. This is fairly easy to find and from here we can arrange a vehicle to meet you.

Cost of this private 4WD transport (the company all have late model 4WD dual cab pick-up trucks) is per vehicle (not per person) for up to about 6 people;
